Adriatic Insurance Co., has received word from A.M. Best that we have been upgraded to A+ Superior as of April 13, 2007. We are all extremely happy and elated to achieve this rating and we thank all of our agency force for their dedicated participation over the years. We have worked hard for this rating since our founding back in 1979.

Our core business is trucking and livery; we write these coverages in most states. We do not write in CO., NV., NM., DE., ND., or any states north of New York.. Livery includes taxis, limousines and ambulette services both emergency and non emergency along with school busses. We underwrite only Commercial Auto Physical Damage and Inland Marine Cargo.

We provide our agents with a broad form Motor Truck Cargo policy with limits of $100,000. to $150,000 in some classes. Coverages provided on cargo include reefer products along with building materials and containerized freight. We also write a named peril policy for household good movers. We have been successful in writing container haulers in all ports including New York and the Long Beach, CA area.

Physical damage includes most vehicles as mentioned above along with coal haulers, sand & gravel, and other hard to place risks. We do not provide coverage for the tour bus class.
